Today was amazing! I was able to meet the children who I will be working with. There are 4 girls and 5 boys. At first, I thought that they would be really shy, but it turned out that they were super outgoing and friendly! :)
This is the first tour in which we brought all little kids. There is one older girl, Grace, who is 16. Since this is a different age group, a lot of the dances changed from previous tours. They dance so well, and giggle the whole time!
On the way home, all of the little kids were so intrigued by my iPod. They got obsessed with the game Angry Birds, and loved listening to my music. :)
The picture above is only a few of the orphans. They. are. just. yummy. ;)
I've only been with the children for a couple of hours, but I can already tell that we are going to have an awesome couple of months!
How amazing, it sounds like your off to a great start! I love that you included a photo, the kids are so cute! Do you have a schedule of your stops along the journey? I am so excited to read about your adventures over the next couple of months!
ReplyDeleteMs. Ion shared this site with some teachers and I'm so happy that she did. What an amazing couple of months to come!
